Dr. Lucy Lamond, DDS

- aka “Dr Lucy”

Dr. Lamond graduated from Dalhousie University’s School of Dentistry and joined the Dartmouth Dental Centre in 1992 along with classmate Dr. Chris.

Lucy is married and has twin daughters. When not working in the clinic, she and her family love taking to the open road in an RV.

She enjoys working with patients in the restoration and maintenance of healthy mouths, and derives real satsifaction from working helping anxious patients.

Growing up in Sydney, Cape Breton, Dr. Lamond was fortunate to have a great family dentist – she was a role model at a time when there were few women in the profession. For Dr. Lucy, dentistry is a great mix of art and science that directly impacts people’s lives. She is happy to know that she has helped many people overcome their fear of the dentist and reclaim control of their smiles. “I’ve heard it said the when you love what you do you never work a day in your life – I have been so blessed,” she says.
